Chester Chong is the Chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles. He was raised in Hong Kong and moved to the U.S. in 1982. During his youth, he gained leadership experience through joining various academic and community activities. From 1990 to 2017, he served in leadership roles as Director, Vice-President and President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles. Chester Chong’s leadership guided the chamber to achieve success through following its mission of cultural exchange. He has traveled across five continents pursuing cultural exchange missions and serving as a university guest speaker. He has received numerous business and community awards for his various roles in community service, including serving as U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol-Captain, American Angel Flight Mission Pilot, and County of Los Angeles Sheriff Department S/R Commander.
