Denmark Harris is an anthropology major at San Bernardino Valley College planning to transfer to university for the Fall 2023 semester, majoring in linguistics. He also plans to pursue his teaching credentials and TESOL certification. His career aspiration is to become an ESL teacher. His experiences as a student at SBVC have further solidified his desire to teach students in the U.S. and in Japan. His life’s aspiration is to make a positive impact on the people that he meets along the way. His is perpetually working towards achieving this goal by engaging others in a way that benefits them, whether that’s by offering encouragement, sharing resources, or by valuing who they are and what they have to say.
